Okay, first, here's the Moss diagram:
& I'm building a wire wheel rear end...when I try to mate #34 (wire wheel extension) to #32 (wire wheel bearing hub), the studs (#33a) pressed into #32 extend too far through #34 for me to be able to tighten them.
I know how I took everything off & am reassemblying it just like I took it off...there were no washers on the studs when I disassembled everything, just the nuts....I've got a new oil seal (#36), new hub bearings (#38), new O-rings (#37) & new paper hub gaskets (#35).
However, when the wire wheel extension is mated to the bearing hub, all the threaded portion of the stud & about 1/8" of non-threaded stud stick through the hub.
What am I missing?
