No need if just changing lugs. There is one spot where you can fish a lug out from behind the flange. I want to say it's towards the rear of the plate. Knock one loose and you'll find it. If you don't have a socket to fit the big nut, you have to knock out a stud to get on it w/ a cresent wrench anyway. The spot is small so it might take a minute or two to find it. Once you do it's a piece of cake.
Nevermind, just saw you want to put longer studs in which you probably won't have room to. Knock one stud out if you don't have a socket to fit. IIRC, left hand side is left handed threads. Take nut of and pry b/w wheel cylinder and back of stud on back of wheel flange just a little bit, turn flange 180 degrees and pry again. Keep doing this till it works off. An alxe puller works faster but this way will work too.
