Remove em from the vehicle and service on the bench. Was a long thread on just how to do this several weeks ago.

Any way to do this while they are on the car?

(I thought the thread was on a slightly different situation - sorry)

There's a plug in the body to gain access. The FILLER plug of the shock is on the top lid at an angle forward. The plug is in the rear bulkhead I believe. (Of course, if they aren't leaking they don't need topping.) Peter C.

I can't seem to find my access point. Is it in the rear trunk area right on side where the fender comes down?

Thanks for the help everyone!

On a Bugeye there are no "access" holes or plugs. Peter C. must be talking about 1500's or another car!

OK - off they come! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/pukeface.gif

If they are leaking then Peter will get a call.

Thanks everyone.
