Hi Jag lovers
Im visiting from the Austin Healey forum and have a question for you.
The Mark II 3000 was introduced with triple SU's. These lasted about 10 months and were replaced by twin SUs as originally featured on the 3000 MkI. Healey folklore says they were replaced because the triples were difficult to keep in tune. Not sure I believe this, Another theory is simply related to cost.... that 2 carbs were cheaper than three!
So the question is...in the Jag world was/is there ever any discussion about problems keeping triple SU's all in tune. I know they feature on several Jag models. After all, once set up properly SUs pretty much stay that way.
thanks in advance
