It'll settle. You still need doors, seats, carpet, etc. I wouldn't sweat it.

LoL, the windsheld came from Jollyroger with the body, a new glass and rubber already mounted in the frame in fact. Took forever to get all the old soap off of it.

What I mean is, its basically the same windshield frame that's on a MkI Midget....main difference is Bugeye's held top on frame with 9 "lift the dots" & MkI Midget had a "groove" running the length of the frame.....Geesh..hehehehe

Ahhhh Hummmmm, Early Bugeyes (1958) had nine dot fastners, 1959 and 60 had the groove as well.

Ed, you've got to keep in mind that Tony has owned more MGs than anyone else and he'd actually bet on that. So therefore, he knows more about them than pretty much anyone else here.

Okay, Tony, I'll try to bail you out on this one. The first Bugeyes, up through # HAN 5 5476, used the windshield and frame with 9 studs for the top. After that, all of the Spridgets until the roll up window cars used the same frame and glass. So, more properly, a Mk I Midget has a Bugeye windshield on it, as the Bugeye had it first.
