so, like the title, what are the differences between a gt6 mk3 chassis and a spitfire one? rad mounts and rear shock mounts? oh, and i'm talking about a rotoflex mk3. thanks.

For sure, the two you mentioned, and I think also a late spitfire frame extended to support the rear bumper but the GT6 frame did not. Its been about 15 years since I parted out a GT6 to make my spit into a spit6. I stuck with my spit frame so I can't tell you for sure if there are other differences to contend with.

That's essentially it. Anything "unique" to a GT6 frame was pretty much an addition to the Spitfire frame, such as the radiator supports and, on Rotoflex cars, the lower wishbone mounts in the rear. And correct, Randy, that no GT6s ever had the rear outriggers for bumper support as did 1974 and later "Federal" Spitfires.
