About a month ago I purchased a Bugeye body. It was reasonably cheap, and I'm in the process of putting on all of the missing bits from an MG Midget parts car I've had for a while. Lotsa fun!
Obviously at the time I bought it, I did not
think about getting it registered (it was a
good deal!). Other than a bill of sale I have
no paperwork and the VIN tag looks like its been missing for many years. I'm hoping someone who has junked a Bugeye in the past (yeah, right) saved the title and VIN tag. I'll be happy to pay a reasonable price or swap for similar MGB-GT title (car that I scrapped a few years ago).
If anyone here has any other suggestions on how to get this thing registered in CA, I'd like to hear from you. A couple of calls made to the DMV resulted in nothing useful at all.
