Lowering front end

I am looking to fine tune the ride height of the front end, and my best guess on lowering the front end would be to use some spacers between the lower spring pans and the lower control arms with longer bolts. Is that a correct approach to lower the car a touch?

It's about double.
I use a nut as a spacer and the nut is about 3/8 inch high and they give 3/4" lowering each. Two provides 1.5" lowering.

I just put in the spridgetmania springs, which lowered the car a bit over an inch, and stiffened things up. So far, plenty of speed bump clearance. I just put on one leaf spring in the back to do the same, set it on the ground and it looks to be about level now. I'll finish the other leaf tomorrow and drive it and see how I like it and how it looks when it all settles in.

Get in it and take a picture with a timer and see how it is setting. Your weight will make a difference on how it sits. I ended up stiffening my rear springs to have it ride level when I am in it.

So when you and your wife are in the car it will lean to her side? Does she know about this?
