After many months of work... Lots of $.. I finally took it for a test run on New Years Day! Around the block and neigherhood several times. It ran great, steered like a dream and is not the car I started with. Here's the total:
87.5mm, cam is 280, TR4A head and manifold, port and polished, oversize valves, roller rockers, headers, HS6s carbs by Gary Martin, alternator, aluminum radiator, electric fan with 185 sensor on the bottom, relocated turn signals and horn, toyota five speed, rack and pinion steering... My dream TR3A!

Boy did I have to work through some problems!
I relocated the brake light switch as it was to close to the headers. I plugged the pressure switch and made a bracket for a manual switch for the brakes... works great!
I took the heater out and placed the wiper switch where the heater switch was and mounted the horn button next to it with a 50 amp relay. I put a 30 amp relay on the brake lights as I'm going to put bigger bulbs in them.
I placed a simple SPDT 20 amp switch where the wiper switch was at for directonal signals and it looks like it was made for the panel..
I have an appointment with a muffler shop this Thurs to finish the exhaust and the hood (bonnet) is out for repainting. I ordered a top from prestige toady and am ready to order wheels and tires...
I hope to make a local TR Club meeting this Sat that is close to home...
