Is there supposed to be a weld under the rear axle?
It isn't a very clean weld. It's on both sides of the frame, in the same place. I suspect that the rear end may have come from a different vehicle, possibly due to the rear end being damaged from an impact (which also might explain the fiberglass rear fenders). The forward rear spring perch is also bent a bit. Actually, the frame around the spring perch is what's bent.
