Wasn't able to check out your 7, but I don't think you should let your prejudices stand in the way of an excellent driving and ownership adventure. The wedge doesn't look so strange now; as it truly has become the shape of things. Maybe the new stuff is a little more rounded, but they are all basically door stop shaped. If the price is right, go for it.

No harm intended, But I thnk your wright. Its a great automoble and I'm starting to like them more and more! Who knows one could end up in the garage one day (wife willing) one day!

Mount Mitchell is the highest point @ 6600 feet. Nice place by the way

I had a 1980 TR7 DHC about 10-11 years ago. I drove it regularly from Indianapolis to the Hudson Valley of NY on the interstates. Great car, I put a header on it which gave it some more snap. I routinely got over 30mpg, it was comfortable, handled well, was a joy to drive down through Paoli to Lake Patoka by French Lick, and believe it or not it got stolen. I swould love to get a TR7 coupe someday once my Spitfire is done.
