TR2/3/3A TR3 turn signal and horn control wiring check

Is there a procedure/instructions on how ohm check horn and turn signal wiring from the bullet connectors to the control head? Wishing to make sure the wiring connections are good and controls function when each is selected, the left, right turn signal, and horn before complete reassembly of the steering assembly.

Just connect to each circuit in turn, check that it's open when the switch is not operated, and closed when it is. Also check for shorts to ground and to each of the other wires.

So, DMM on ohms x1 or a powered test light or buzzer.

Connect one lead to the thick NB wire, touch the other lead to each of the other wires. Should be no continuity. Connect the other lead to ground, should be no continuity. Press and hold the horn button, should get continuity. Disconnect both leads.

Connect one lead to the remaining wire that is neither GR or GW. (The color varies). Touch the other lead to each of the other wires and to ground, should be no continuity. Connect the other lead to GR and move the turn switch to the left, you should now get continuity. Repeat the last test using the GW and moving the switch to the right.

Thanks for sharing your wisdom Randall. I don't have the horn button installed, should I be be getting continuity between the NB wire and the stator tube?
 
No. Should be open without the button; the circuit is only completed through the copper disc on the back of the button.
