I have been struggling with this all day and have about given up.

How do you get the old bushes out of your steering column on a TR6?

I am guessing these there is a trick to it but I can't figure it out.

Or does anyone know of a place that rebuilds these?

I did my 4's using a threaded rod long enough to go clear through the tube. For the first bush pull it out with an expander slid through the center. A big washer on the other end with a turning nut. Be careful the expander does not catch on the soft tube. For the second use a washer to avoid that problem. And before you start cut the norts off the bush where they stick out the holes in the tube. The new ones I pulled in just catching the bush edge with a washer small enough to come back thru the hole.

Jack....rather then remove the old bushing just get Art Lipp's Delrin bushings that get pressed on over the old ones. You can see how easy it is to do here. It's $25 for the kit or you can send Art your old column and he'll rebuild the whole thing for you. But putting these bushings in is so simple that you'll be pleasantly surprised.

It looks like mine (73) has a steering wheel lock on the the inner column, so I can't get the inner column out until I get the bushing out.

Hey chicken! have you met egg?

I think for price, I might just send it off to Art's.
