My preference is to reuse the old master cylinders for my '59 TR3A and send them to Apple Hydraulics for sleeving. In taking a closer look, they are not identical castings. One is stamped "Girling 75" and the other simply "Girling" in smaller letters. Both have (as best as I can make out) the numbers "310680", although the latter appears to have "·02" added at the end.
Does anyone know if this is simply a case of the original being replaced somewhat later with a slightly changed Girling replacement, and which one would be closer to the original Standard-Triumph installed version?
Has anyone had experience with the Moss Classic Gold reproductions? I believe there was discussion several years back of some problems with those?
Appreciate any info.
Regards,
Walter
