TR2/3/3A TR3 Project Starting

I'm heading to my garage today to see if I can stir some life into the TR3. It hasn't run in a good while, so it could take a little work. It wouldn't start last night so I'm going to be a little better equipped this time.
I need to get it over to another garage to prep it for primer. The plan is to start soon as my deer hunting is done. First things first.
If I can get the necessary welding completed, the car could be on the road maybe late summer...or in a few years.

Couple of thoughts...

A strong battery &/or jump is a big help. If is cranking slowly it may be very hard to start.

Points can lose their gap over time if they weren't cinched down well.

Pumping up the fuel bowls (if you still have alever on the fuel pump) will get faster results).

Starting fluid used sparingly and carefully may help either to get it running or diagnose the fault.

Didn't start! It hasn't been run on a regular basis for almost three years. It last ran about six months ago.

I swapped out the condensor; cleaned and checked the points gap. The battery was freshly trickle charged. I cleaned the plugs, eventually replacing two(that's all I had); cleaned the rotor; drained three gallons of gas, replacing with three gallons of fresh. I did use ether.
It was getting gas, but was lacking spark. The battery started to wear down and the beer alarm was sounding, so I called it a day.

I'll be near TRF tomorrow, so I'll buy some tune up bits and have at it again.

Banjo, I am planning on The Glen, but will probably take my 6. It's a lot closer to making the trip.

WoooHoooo! Finally got it running. I didn't do anything to it. The only thing I can figure is it's British.
Moving it this afternoon before the storm hits.
