Do they just bolt-on or is there lots of prep work needed to mount them? (besides the obvious needs paint)

RB cars going through the conversion need to have a hole in the front of the fender filled in... not sure how the replacement bumper attaches after that.

I especially like that rear bumper with the recessed license plate. With the bumper painted body color, it really makes the rear look clean and understated. I'd be tempted to also remove the reverse lamps and side markers....but then I'm weird. I'd like to lose the gas filler too, but I don't like the idea of putting it in the boot. I'm not THAT weird....

hmmm... there's always the option of adapting one of those stainless steel filler covers from something like an Audi TT or Mitsu Eclipse and relocating the filler to the upper part of the right rear wing... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The front and rear modified bumpers are a straight bolt on. The front uses the valence welded nuts and the rear has a vertical wall which bolts thru the rear trunk wall. I think Stewart bolted them also below the taillights?
In front you do need to cut off the RB stanchions just like a CB conversion and cut the top part back in the grill opening to clear the CB grill. The turn signal openings need some small mods just like the Moss CB conversion kit.

I did things a little different in the back. I made brackets out of angle stock that bolt on under the tail lights. The center mounting was made with brackets that go from the bottom of the body to the license plate upper bolts. You can sort of see the mounts under the lights and the center mount if visible. When mounted the mounts are strait up and down. I also used the mounts to stand off the bumper slightly to keep it from rubbing on the body. Mounting is very solid.
