so far ive bent out the fender to an acceptable shape for fill etc....ive also cut of the valance right above the stiffener bar.......its a start.

im gonna order a new front blinker, and i need a tail light, as the car rolled back, and it got broke.

the car runs fine still...no real damage except what u see on the body.......ill be fine /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

what i need help with is....
i need a rear sidemarker....
also i need a good valance (the body part under the grille)
and ideas on attaching it...the old one is welded to stiffner.....

If you can find a whole nose cone, then the repairs would be easier. It needs to be welded for strength, but you could attach it with screws to get everything aligned then take it to a welding shop and have them do the plug welds. The welding part it easy. It is the prep and alignment that is a pain in the neck (literally)

Lemme know if I can help with the new parts....I don't think I have a good used hood...new one from Moss runs around $750 plus truck freight charge (OUCH!!)...

You could also go with a fiberglass hood. That would save money (and weight). It might not look as pretty as a steel one, but it won't rust!

I've got some used pars from a few spridgets. If you let me know I'll see what I can do.
That stinks. I remember when that happened to me. A "friend" backed it into a tree when we were learning to drive and the same "friend" backed into my front end. Never received a dime and the car was a wreck.

I have a very good used hood (bonnet?) if you are interested, PM me!

I thought I had a really good bonnet. Had not looked at it in a while! Just went out and looked it over and found some rust-through that wasn't apparent before, but the Fla. humidity got to it! Nothing real major, but PM me and we can talk! Arrows on top indicate 2 small dings. Arrow on underside shows only spot underneath with some surface rust and as you can see rust-through on drivers leading outer edge. It is solid underneath these spots! Other than these blemishes the hood is straight and solid!

From looking at the pictures, you may want to get the whole nose cone replaced. I think it may be more bent up than you realize. But... I may be wrong. It might be prudent to disassemble things and take a look before buying anything.

Looks to me like what you have already is pretty bent up!
PS there is a pretty good looking hood and brand new fender panels listed on ebay. Next time I surf over there I will grab the links and post them here or you!
