Yo Healey doods...
Thanks to a totally incompetent and careless mechanic's assistant, it appears that I have experienced a spill of brake fluid. Since the fluid landed on the frame rails below the line of sight from above, I did not notice this spill for several months. The reservoir can does not leak btw, nor are there any leaks in the lines. Anyway, I was under the car yesterday and found a substantial area of damaged paint, mostly limited to the frame rails - it's bubbled and peeling. It's in an area directly below the master cylinder - which is new and not leaking.
Question: what is the best product to thoroughly clean up this mess and prepare the frame rails for repainting? Any tricks? Surely I can't be the only one that has experienced leaking brake fluid.
Thanks
Randy
