Well i did it again. I own yet another MG Midget. Pick this one up locally for a mear $300.00. it in over all good shape. it been sitting since 1986. story Behind it is. they parked it do to a bad starter. the Motor will turn over but i have not heard it run yet. i say with a new starter and some new points and stuff it will be good as new.

Yep, that interior will clean up great. A bit of carpet from your local trim shop and you are good to go it seems.

That's about how long my 'orange' sprite had been sitting and we had it on the road in a week.

I think maybe what's keeping it from wanting to go anywhere is self esteem issues with those bumpers. Like braces and head gear on a pretty girl.

300 is a steal.

Well after 21 years the Midget is a runner again. it amazing what a tune up will do.

And yes the dash does not have cracks.

The down falls with this car

A. It been sitting for 21 years and the Car need lubed everywhere. levers and stuff dont work.

B. It was Own By some TN hillbillie (you fill in the blank)

C. The Wiring in the engine bay is a Nightmare

D. Fugly Gator skin Viynl in the cock pit

E. It has an aftermarket Ignition (another has the same)

F. No title ( Again My other one is the same)

G. The Gas line is stopped up from 21 year old gas

other than thoughs few flaws it over all a nice find. now that the engine runs i feel it was worth the 300 Bucks. Now time to work on getting the clutch peddle moving again. bleeding some stuff and getting a top. all the gauges seem to work and the light and wipers work minus the turn signal but that because the ignition is missing and they took the assebly apart.
