LOL LOL.. Ok, MG experts.. Is this VIN # truly ultra-rare? If it is, it may be worth an extra $1000 or so on top of its true value ($800??). The hardtop, if an original accessory, maybe $500? Help me out, guys, I'm trying to justify the reserve price ($8000?), without bidding to discover it. An AZ car, probably fairly rust-free, add $700? Almost half-way... If the rarity factor is accurate, and I was a die-hard B collector, maybe $2500? Ask the seller for more pics, there may be the ultra-rare snow plow attachment MG targeted to the Western U.S. market in the early 60's.... That would add at least another grand to this appraisal. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif
It may be a $3000 car to a serious collector, if in fact it is complete. Hopefully for the seller, there is an "ultra-rich" and "ultra-implulsive" serious collector searching for that elusive first MGB off the boat. Wish him the best.
