K- sorry for the drooling sidetrack; bk to our regularly scheduled
Suspension Program!!
===Big bars=Both Ends [found a 1" for the front!!] -pullin the 'skinny bus wheel' & goin one of my 14"...Maybe 13" MOMOs - & that Quik Ratio Rack!!!
I live at the base of the Santa Cruz Mtns - been terrorizing them for nearly 50yrs ... & Know them WELL
*******
I'm building quite the Canyon Carver here, well beyond the cute, spiffy little tourer born from British Leyland almost 50yrs ago, & Looking for Max Section Width (spell'd
"Tread Patch") in rubber. Going with a 16", to clear the upper A-arm a lil better
Thx for th SCHOOLin', mHmm... x7" (@Zero Offset...schoolin x 2!)
so here I am: 205/55s will be safe...but I see plenty with successes keeping the 215/55s off the paint
******
I'm figurin ADDING the rear & MAXing the front Bar, is going to minimize rolling over on the outsides by many fold (+poly, in the juctions vs good ol Rubber)- so That'll help Plenty.
-in addition... & here we go: whatch'all gonna say? . . . I May add in the 1"off springs - narrowing my safety margins of clearance, but lower for sex appeal ("Flipping this 1st one, at the 'Peak of Convertible Season') & not to mention the plus in handling
SO, 205/55s safe -215/55s closer, but reports say "Fine, we've done it & no rub" but I haven't read yet:
16x7 @0 offset, in a 215, WITH Lowering Springs Too.......all good: no body contact
I've gotta get off these 15yro tires...& got my finger hovering over CLICK: "Send Me mounted Tires & Rims!!!!!!!!!!"
What say you all- I'm trusting those with miles & wish to learn from your wisdom -maybe mistakes. 'Love the: "ASK Me how I know..."
ROF'nFL my self about to death, 1st time I heard that one at the track- bwaaaaaaaahahaha!
I'll be Watching!! Big TR luv to yoosAll - MacGuyver!
