Because of the
shear application, I used AN
grip-length hardware sourced from Pegasus Racing (likewise, you could get them from Aircraft Spruce, or maybe even at your local smalltime airport.
There's solid shank passing through both flanges (hub/rotor) and only enough threads to satisfy the nut (fine adjustment is accomplished with .030" & .060" washers.
I used these for my hubs and driveshaft flange fasteners, and any other applications with
shear loads
