TR2/3/3A 1960 TR3A Bottom Rubber Seal on the Windscreen

I am very excited to say that I have rubber seal on the bottom of the windscreen installed. I'm un-excited to say that I have a couple of wavy loops at the end on the passenger side. Does that mean that the rubber in the windscreen frame is too tight or too loose?
I'd send a picture but I can't make that happen at this time. The wavy loop is right where the frame makes the sharp turn down on the passenger side. I could pull that 5 or 6" section out and reinstall it but I hate do overs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and no I do not have a bunch of excess to play with.

I would let the rubber relax for a day or two and see what happens, you should be able to work it out.

When I had my '58 TR3A painted last year, I had them replace the rubber seal at the same time. When I got it back there were wavy loops, but more towards the center. I tried letting it relax. I also tried helping it relax with a heat gun. The loops relaxed a little, but were still there. I removed the windshield, inspected, and found they had installed it backwards. I pulled it out, flipped it over, threaded it back in (with the help of some liquid soap for lubrication) and voila! Now it sits firmly with no loops. Fairly easy to do too.

Thanks Keith and Bill. Pretty sure that I got it in the correct way.
After fiddlng and fussing with it, I got it all mostly atraight. Because of the way it sits on the car I suspect it will be OK once I install the windshield.
