Removing paste wax from fiberglass?

I've made one part from my plaster mold, first I covered the surface with paste wax then laid in the fiberglass and resin.
The piece came out of the mold fine, but is now coated in wax.

I want to be careful with the new piece, not to damage it, so what's the best way to remove the wax?

again google says dewaxing solvent - I suspect stuff for removing floor wax from Home Depot would suffice.

Scrub it with dihwasher detergent & water then wipe down with lacquer thinner using paper towels after drying it.
Wax and grease remover is best but many people misuse it by wiping the part with a rag dampened in it. It is best to spray on and allow it to "lift" the wax and blot off with paper towels. NO WIPING!
If you are going to paint the piece test fire some spray primer to see if you get fisheyes then repeat wiping with lacquer thinner if you do.

Trying the least caustic methods first, hopefully a little soap and water will do the trick. Second piece has the bolts epoxied in place, waiting to cure a bit.
I hope this works, it will be nice to have those rounded pieces under the tail lights.

Then I can finish painting.
