just upgraded audio in my '76 mgb roadster - went with a kenwood krc-435 cassette receiver - $170 @ crutchfield; got it for $120 from etronics.com, very pleased, installation a breeze, faceplate removable, 4 channels
kept the (older) 5.25" door speakers - wish to install 6x9 inchers in the rear - a friend gave me a pair of nice 3-way 100 watters with box enclosures - borrowed a rotozip & anxious to cut the fateful holes in my rear bulkhead - for best sound quality (mainly bass) should i incorporate the boxes or let the trunk be the enclosure? - also every image i've found on the web of mgb rear speakers shows the orientation to be horizontal - any reason not to go vertical?
thanx
