WHATS MY CAR WORTH.it says that the 3000 is
the EPITOMY of the british roadster. GET ONE
WHILE THE GETTING IS GOOD..A direct quote!!!!

You mean there is a Healey 3000?

I do agree, though, that all the Healeys are wonderful cars, well worth collecting. I have been working on a Jag E of late. It is a very attractive and luxurious car. But personally, I don't think it drives as well as my much older and cruder Healey 100. And my Healey is sure much easier to get in and out of!

what year E? had a 63 roadster. would love to have another. out of my range now.saw one sitting on a side street in key west a couple of days ago. a DRIVER. couple of dents etc. 4.2 been looking for it again, but can't find it. was kind of hoping the guy didn't know whats it's worth, but i'm
afraid those days are over.

The AH 100 and 3,000 are great cars and going way up in value and there are quite a few around, which is good and I'd love to have one, but...

The most undervalued open sports car on the market today in my never to be humble opinion is the Jensen Healey Mk I, Mk II or Mk V. It's fun to drive, comfortable, fast and very 70's retro cool and the price is where the 100's and 3,000 were 15 or 20 years ago. Just something to consider. Spoken like the JH Drone that I am.

By the way... I also like the XKE's but you have to have a very skinny butt to drive one of those beauties. The seating isn't American Wide-Frame friendly at all.

Good point about the Jensen Healey. The big Healeys are out of my price range now, not quite E-Type territory, but they might as well be. The J-H is very undervalued and overlooked by all but the few "in the know". For goodness' sake they are even valued lower than the ubiquitous MGB! I have a rubber bumper 'B' and the market value for that is significantly higher than I could get a J-H for in equivalent condition.
