Ray, on Bugsy my '68 it is a solid copper pipe not a flex hose. Mine came disconnected and I found the logical easiest way to route.
Of course this was the same line that DPO forgot to connect when he started the engine and pumped about half a quart of 20W50 @ 70 psi sideways out of the engine. Oh and BTW, the access plate for the clutch bleeder is directly opposite the spot where you connect the oil pressure gauge. I spent 2-3 days simply cleaning up the PS footwells when Bugsy first came home just to get rid of all of the oil the DPO simply left laying in there for years.
