Would like imput on the size of exhaust pipes. I have a 1098 bored out to 40 over, APT street preformance cam, Pace header and a Monza exhaust. I'm ready to install a one peice pipe from the header to muffler and would like to have it mandrel bent so it goes up and over the rear axle so the muffler will not hang so low. The smallest that can be bent this way is 2" dia. Will the increase in size from 1 3/4" to 2" cause me any problems in lost torque? I can go with crush bent pipe, but am worried that I would end up with an ID less than 1 3/4" if I stay with current size(1 3/4") and don't want to restrict the exhaust flow. Anyone one have experence going either way with this?
