well against the advise of some and others seems it will not matter to much I have painted the front fenders, see pic, and the bonnet has been primed, blocked, wet sanded with 400(again) and I am going to paint it this weekend. I did get some nibs in the clear coat on the fenders but what I have researched so far is next to wet sand with 800 then with 1500 and its feasible to reclear or continue with 3000 on my DA then start buffing out the clear. I figure if I get a paint mixer to attach to my Battery drill and really mix the paint well each time, I really cant see there being that much of a difference in color, But I have been wrong before and time will tell SO on with the Painting. At least this time I had no paint issues, alligatoring, sand scratch swelling etc to I feel better about that
