Nope. Been there, done that.
I finally got the wrong coating off the floors, and side walls, and rockers, and front foot panels...
I tested some POR15 on a small area and was not impressed. It went on like water, too thin.
Instead, since the metal was so clean now, I chose to coat the entire floor area with a PPG epoxy coating. (I've used it before) Goes on thick and fills all the seams. I got a semi-rigid seam sealer down and coated over that. I have to now re-tap all my bolt holes because the epoxy got in the threads. Half done with that. I'll get some pics tonight.

Just pondering out loud. If you used the 2 part PPG
industrial grade epoxy coating, you probably should
let it fully cure out for 7 to 10 days before you apply
anything over it.
Depending upon what mil thickness you applied, you
might not need to put ANYTHING over it.
That is--IF you used the 2 part, industrial stuff.
When I read about your Crypty-ish floor nightmare,
I immediately decided I would go directly to epoxy
coatings for mine.

Well, at least when it comes to floor pans.
Bill, POR 15 is very thin, but it does get as hard as a rock. The important thing is that you're happy with whatever you put on. And that your paint will stick to it.
