I'm waiting for some spare cash to keep the project going and took the gauges apart. Mine were very rusted and the paint was flaking off the interior and the faces, but they all work. I was wondering how the Smith gauges were built.
I have a unit to powdercoat the bodies and faces. But how are the faces given new numbers? Is silkscreening an option. I know Nicewongers will rebuild units, but like everyone else I'm trying to save a few bucks. Any ideas ?
