MGB Ya Just Never Know What Cha Find

Called a guy out of Craigslist about some motorcycles,
Said he had a ware house full, so I just had to check it out.
Went down to rust free Riverside California, and met with "ROY"
Roy opened up the warehouse, and Nirvana, place had not been opened since 1980.
All kinds of bikes, BSA's Triumphs, Husky's, Bultaco's, Yamaha's, 55 Chevy, 64 Corvair
all from the 60's and 70's, interesting to say the least.

THEN there was outside, Midgets, and Sprites, and Bugeye's,
I played it cool, just looking around, 6 or 7 MGB's (a pull handle!)
So as we were discussing the bikes, I threw a interest his way, of the MGB's,
buy them all, 1 price. Midgets, Sprite and Bugeye included.

And there were about 200 more cars, even a 56 Datsun.

Right now, just cultivating the relationship.
He specializes in clearing titles,
Nice guy, see what happens

You have to wonder just how many interesting vehicles there are (thousands?) in the hands of hoarders that'll never see the light of day until their heirs or executor are given the task of disposing of them. Even the TV show "American Pickers" often shows stashes of cars hidden in barns and warehouses that haven't been seen or touched on decades - even by their owners. By the time they finally hit the market most of the people who might have been interested in them will probably be dead :(

That's not even counting all the people with just one or two cars they hang onto because they're "gonna get around to restoring it". I knew someone who had a Midget in their backyard they were going to restore. It sat for years unprotected from the elements and from kids playing on it and beating on it with baseball bats. Eventually it rusted away to the point that it wasn't even useful as scrap metal...

What a find! Would be fun just to walk around.

Good luck, maybe someday he'll be ready to sell.
