When I took apart my TR8 seats I found a big bag of weed. (good think I didn't know it was there, would have paid more for the car. Kidding...)

On the TR4a seats I found this;

Too bad the seats were let go, they were leather. Was that standard or and upgrade on a 1968 TR4A?

Not sure about the syringe, but I think leather was an upgrade! Did you have a trim code of H11? I think that's how a 4 would have been coded for black leather.

Not sure how common it was but both of my TR4A's had leather originally as well.

Those look like the original leather covers that were in mine, piping and all. I had to redo mine also. The skirts and back are vinyl.
Weed and drugs, must have been original California cars. All I found was a matchbook from Rapid City SD, good trip for original owners from Saint Louis.

When I stripped my seats, I found one pair of broken eye glasses, one kids matchbox car, and small change.

When I got my TR3 from my uncle in OH. I found a bag of weed under the carpet for the transmission cover. This was found after trailering the car from OH to La with my dad. My uncle didnot know about it and the person he got the car from did not know either. My uncle go the car in 1973.

Every car seems to come with one Lego piece. I haven't found the GT6s yet though. My husband bought a thunderbird from a possibly owned mafia dealership. He never got a title even after it was paid off, and we found two bullets. And I'm not talking about hunting bullets either. Not unless you're hunting humans.

My husband dug through an escort in a junk yard. He cane back home with a little baggy of weed to show me since I never saw weed before. I asked him if he knew if possession was a crime.

My brothers RSX was searched since kids these days can't be trusted and they found trace bits of weed under his seat. The cops asked if the car was used because what weed they found was real old.

My favorite find on a used MBZ...a patched bullet hole in the back of the passenger seat and dried vomit/blood under same seat...very old btw as dried in place but not overly cleaned up.
No longer own vehicle.

Well I keep finding cig holes in my mustang convertible. I never smoked and no one who does is allowed to smoke in or even near my car. I've owned it since 1998 so I know the damage is new. Only thing I can figure is ash is being blown in from the jerks who don't know what the ashtray in their vehicle is for. I've ridden with smokers. They don't even realize that some of those ashes fly back inside completely distroying their rear interior. Not like the rest of the inside is any better.

I've had direct experience with jealous &^%$* tossing butts INTO the car on purpose. Don't discount anything. :madder:

We've found everything from edge weapons to prophylactics, lots of loose change, tools, baggies with who-knows-what... even a soiled baby diaper in a trunk once. People are pigs. Forgetful pigs.

If you look at my avatar you will see what I found behind my horn pad on my TR6 over 30 years ago while sitting in traffic. He is still there.

All I found when I brought home my TR8 was a collection of match books from all the strip clubs the previous owner had visited, from New York to Ohio. They were plentiful and varied. When I brought home my Dodge truck I found most of a tool set, apparently some one from the deal hid it hoping to test drive the truck and claim it. I gave it back when I went back to get my 1st oil change and they were so pleased they let me pay full price for the oil.
