I am replacing the timing cover seal since its leaking. I pulled the radiator to see what I am doing better. Can anyone tell me if there are any issues I will run into with this job? It looks like the crank bolt is obscured by the frame rail, so I was hoping to get it off without pulling the motor somehow. Any tips are appreciated. And what size is that crank bolt?

I believe the crank bolt is 1-5/16". I think I could just get the damper to clear if I undid all of the engine mount bolts and jacked up the motor until the tranny touches the tunnel. But that was before I installed the 5-speed. If you have a Datsun 5-speed, it has less tunnel clearance and could prevent you from clearing the front cross memeber without the help of a BFH (Big Fuuu,-"Fancy" Hammer) :wink:
