The engine I put in the GT, that came out of a '79 had been converted to a set of HIF's, which I gave away. The Carbs that came with the GT when I picked it up were HS4's, but a real old set, AUD-52's which apparently came with the 1962 - 1963 model year. https://www.burlen.co.uk/partList.aspx?carID=10712
The Teglerizer site doesn't even list them at all. https://www.teglerizer.com/mgstuff/SUcarbs.htm
My question is weather a set of these AUD-52's, if I have them rebuilt by someone good, will be just as efficiant as a later model set of HS4's properly tuned? They will also be working on my GT with overdrive, and not a lighter roadster if that makes a differance at all.
So, will I be fine with these or should I upgrade when it is time?
