Parked the TR8 last year in favor of a 2007 Sky Redline. Now I am bringing it back from it's slumber. I have leaned on the engine a bit (compression, mild cam, Rimmers headers/ stainless dual exhaust, Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock/Weber 500CFM 4bbl. NEVER could get the Weber right (tried a second one as well) as it HATED high g-force cornering and fluttered terribly. So, a while back I bought a Holley 4160 450CFM carb and am now making the switch over after it's rebuild. So far, just from what I have seen in the physical arrangement of everything in and on the Holley it should be better. heck, it sure couldn't be worse!! The Weber was fine in a straight line, but for autocross are REALLY hard driving, not so much.
The questions are
1) Who has one on their TR8?
2) How do you have it set up (jetting, float heights, etc.)
3) What air filter do you use?
4) Offer up anything else you like.
