Holley 32/36 Carb

I picked up a cheap Holley Carb this weekend but i dont think it will work on the MG any suggestion on mating this thing to the MG.

Hi Mike,

Yes, the Holley copy of the Weber DGV will go on a 1500. You just need either the Cannon or... err... (insert name of other company here) manifold to go with it.

They come up on ebay every so often, I can't find one right now to point out. I think I have a picture of mine...

Your pictures are marked 'private', so just to confirm; you've got the progressive 32/36 that looks somewhat like this?

ya i cant view the pics either without creating an account,,,,, i do know that the holley was a leicensed (sp) copy of the webber and was fitted to the capri motors and most likely a few others like the mustang. wasnt it callad a 3200?

It was called the Holly/Weber 5200 and was used on Pintos, Vegas, Dodge Omnis (and Horizons) and VWs as the Bugspray carb.

DGV conversion on Ebay

Does your carb look like that? That's the Cannon manifold; the other company, I now remember, is called Pierce. Either should fit the Holley version of the DGV.

I worked on plenty 5200s on pintos and mustang IIs and they worked well. I may have a couple of those somewhere.
