Went to Harbor Freight

Went to HFT to redeem my Christmas gift cards. Found a great brake bleeder (Yes, pictures as soon as I get the camera from Herself. Flower show season, ya know), air hack saw (for exhaust systems, etc.) air brush (not an artist but want to play), lots of air hose fittings, auto welding helmet (oh, awe, oh). I tried the bleeder but had to modify (just an MG owner) a bit. Principle works from having a gravity feed reservor on top of the MC and drawing the fluid through the system with an air operated vacume unit with storeage. I put the bottle on a hanger and added two barb fittings between the bottle and the valve with hose so I can get the unit on the MC and BMC (no room if the hood is on). Works great. Like I said I'll post pics when the camera and my son are available. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/hammer.gif

A thing to remember about shopping at a Harbor Freight store. Take the flier you get in the mail with you, if you have one, when you go and any sales in it will be honored at the store. They need the sale item number out of the flier to do this. I got a $30 store price set of step drills for $9.99 using the flier sale. Plus, you save the shipping. Double bonus!

I, also, look up the item on the HF website and print out what I want. They will honor those too. Saved many $ that way.

Yep, I bought a $189 (normal store price) bead roller that way for $89 (internet deal price).

You will want to beef up the frame, check-out the https://www.jalopylournal.com , https://www.metalmeet.com , https://www.allshops.org for people who have already completed thier's. Also deburr dies, a little lube and your all set! now once you get started, you may notice some distortion when rolling beads. What happens is the bead draws up metal into the bead, thus shrinking parts of the panel. It isn't as noticable if you extend beads to the edges. Take care! tt(oldgoaly)
