Stewart, does he live in Tulsa? That's an easy car to spot! Hope he doesn't change the paint scheme. PJ

PS, If your in California, how come he's traveling that route?

I'm in ND most of the year. From talking to him he's going to use it as a driver while he finish's his other B's. I guess he was tired of wrenching and not driving. He lives in tulsa

Well he made it and the car ran fine as I knew it would. Guy must have an iron butt as 18 hours in an mg is more than I could take.

I just returned from my wife's High School reunion in Jerome, Idaho. We took two days to get up there (From Albuquerque) but because we both had to get back we drove straight through on the return trip - 15.5 hours in a BMW Z4! Driving those kinds of hours was a lot easier 30 years ago!

Try it in a car without P/S or A/C.We kind of foget how
the "good old days" were until we go long distance in our
older cars.
I drove our '68 Ford F250 back from Sacramento last year -
drum brakes (non power),no air,no power steering,AM radio,in
105 degree heat.It seemed like a cool idea in the beginning.

We routinely (well, once or twice a year) drive the black car (99 M Rdstr) to/from Florida). That's eightteen (18) hours.

I'm pretty sure I couldn't do that anymore in the Healey
