Question-Front dampner puller

This one is on there, how do I get it off without damageing the pully or the front cover?

the 948 had a pulley and no dampener.

They are a slip fit and not a press fit on the crank snout. However....if the bolt was not torqued properly of the key inserted wrongly or to wide etc. and the pulley was hammered on, and when running fretted on the crank snout, it just might not slide off. There are no pull holes in the pulley or the dampener (on later cars or retrofited) and the best you can do is tap forward lightly down low in the belt sheave with a dull chisel and try not to ruin the pulley.

What I did finaly. Used window wooden shims from Home Depot under one side to put pressure there. Used a long screw driver to pry other side taping it with a hammer.

Came off, no damage, was a good way to do it.
