Help towing a Triumph

Hi Guys, Do any of you trailer your cars to lond distance meets? I'm trying to decide on an open trailer to tow my TR4. I don't want to go overboard with a super heavy duty tandem trailer if I can avoid it. I did see someone towing an MG with a large single axle landscape trailer, what do you guys suggest? Thanks.

I bought a tandem axle 14' utility trailer a while back and haven't regretted spending the few extra dollars. The wood rotted out and I found two loading ramps from a U-Haul truck that I had installed in place of the wood. Works fantastic, and it's a bit lighter than the wood deck.

A 6x12 flatbed equipment trailer is perfect. SIngle axle is fine, brakes would be a plus too. MIne is a drop axle trailer for lower ground clearances.

I was completely unaware that any tr4 ever needed to be towed to a meet......quite misses the point I think.

I have Trailed my TR3 when I needed to be able to make time while traveling. I have had to use a car dolly a couple times when we had problems to get it back home. A trailer I think is better than the dolly. They are just not wide enough but will work when the car is placed in the right spot on the dolly.
