Beat the snow - home safe in the garage

The first of the snow showers that were supposed to arrive after midnight are here already. Luckily, Erik completed the frame work last night and did the alignment this morning.

As the Brit's would say "It's spot on!!" Dead straight and steady at 70MPH and no more jumping when I hit a bump. I guess that I got my money's worth out of those 33 year old bushings.

Here's a few shots that I got before I took it home, including Erik and me.

That's great Paul!

I was thinking about you as I was driving home this afternoon when the stupid snow started coming down. All I could say was I hope you left early enough today to get the car.

Paul, thanks for the picture. You gotta know I
really stand in awe anytime I see your vehicle in
a picture.
I scream out in the livingroom: Holy Smokes! and
other types of acceptable explicatives, because it
just blows my mind how clean and pretty it is -- and
you just keep going.

I really like putting your face, now, with the posts.
In most posts on the Forum, it's kinda like the
neighbor on Home Improvement, like you only see the
shoes or the legs...speaking of which, have you checked
out Dapper Dale's winter garb....nice boots.

Looks great. Sorry for the snow. Most I have to deal with
now is the rain.

Paul, the muffler hanger need not be an issue.

That fine lad, TR6 previous owner, PeterL simply
had the muffler welded to the frame.

You also could Peter-ize your muffler. LOL !!!!

Sorry Basil, I could not resist that one!

Thanks for the compliments everyone. This was a project that I've been planning and saving for the past three years. It was expensive and time consuming, but I just did what was right for the car and my plans to keep it until I drop.

It's not for everyone and I passed on a lot of other things to finally do this, but now I'm glad that I did.

The looks are a definite bonus, but the ride home was a blast for the way that it handles and performs. Now I can't wait for spring to drive the heck out of it.

these pictures,is that both of our TR's are Yellow.
With my luck,I'd go to a car show,& you'd park next to me.
