Spitfire 76 Spitfire rear axle bearings

Anyone have a part number for rear axle bearings for a 76 Spitfire 1500. I would like to pick them up at the local bearing shop but have not disassembled yet. It doesn't matter the brand the bearing shop has cross refrences.

Seal (Inner): 471224 -- 2 required
Ndle Bearing (Inner): B168 -- 2 required
Ball Bearing (Outer): LS10 -- 2 required

I can now call the bearing shop and verify stock. Let me make sure I am clear. Is this list for both axles or is this required for one?

These are for both sides. However, there should be two seals. An inner and an outer seal. Timken only lists one of the seals, and it is not clear which one!
I would not take it all apart without getting both of the seals.

Anthony, how are you planing on taking the hub apart? Be aware that if you use a 2 or 3 leg gear puller you will ruin the hub. Many people have tried to get around using the "special tool" and have regreted this.
Just a word for the wise.

[/ QUOTE ]In doing a bit more research online, I find that it is the outer seal that is missing from the Timken list. "GHS111" is the current "factory" part number as shown in Canley Classics' catalogue.

BTW, in doing this online research, I find that both seals and both bearings are available through NAPA! Their online catalogue has a feature where you can search by original part numbers, and all these numbers come up as the appropriate bearing or seal! <napaonline.com> is the site.
