Nice, next best thing to an authentic SS100, but good luck finding one of those originals for less than the GNP of a small nation. From the looks of it, I would not refer to that SS100 as a "replica", it's more of an homage.

Yes, I agree, and if you get it as a kit to build yourself, its not going to break the bank. The best of both worlds - indistinguishable to the average person from the real ting, yet modern speed and drivability. Did you check out the videos?

Basil, you went and did it! Now all I can think about is how I can get my paws on one! Did you look into the cost of one of these?

That is too sweet.

The articles kept quoting 22-25 thousand pounds self built. About 35,000 to 39,000 Dollars. Sans engine. Not too bad, The Caterham 7 lightweight tallys in about the same, but just isn't as gorgeous. If I had the money and place for it, there would be no debate.

This SS100 beats the heck outta some other "kits" that use Pinto or VW engines.. this one uses a Jag donor car..
With a 4.2L engine, the thing would have nearly 10 times more horses that the "original" SS100 did.. Can you say: "Whoopie, Hang on!! ;-0"
