I bought a 58 100/6 with transmission issues...only the normal, noisy 1st and reverse
However the seller kindly sent me a spare transmission ( BN2 ) an Overdrive Laycock de Normanville S/No 28 /1292/5152 ( with adaptor plate ) and as I read is suitable for a 100 along with the bell housing
I have decided to have my existing transmission and overdrive restored so I was trying to determine before I advertise the spare ( which has also been refurbished ) to which models this BN2, Series 28/1292 overdrive, adaptor plate and bell housing would be suited?
I am assuming, given that it has a 100 overdrive it would be more suited to early cars, say up to 1956
Any advice would be appreciated
