We started at about 8:30 this morning, pulled the trans to replace the front main seal, Remove the seal and ready to install the new one. Wrong one, go back to Napa auto parts get the right one. Put the trans back together reinstall trans in the car. Bleed the clutch fill the trans with gear oil reinstall trans cover, carpet and seats. Done at 3:00 Just as the test drive is a go, the rain started, So just 1 lap around the block. Dry off the TR go in the house for lunch. What a good day!

Good Job Dan! No rain here yet. Seems winter is now starting here and everyone east is seeing Spring. The things we have to put up with living in California.

for information purposes, can you list the NAPA part number and transmission case number in case others need the seal

I could not find a number on the case of the trans, But it is from a 1982-1985 toyota celica. The Napa part # is 11615 for the front seal and 14753 for the rear seal. When we tried to install the front seal the outer diameter was 5000th to large. Napa counter Guy could not figure out what was wrong. So we went to another auto parts and under national brand the # 1981 fit perfect.
