Got new bushings for the trunnions for the TR3 and did not know they had to be reamed. My question is how much clearance do I need to allow for grease? So my shaft measures .622" what size reamer do I need? Also has anyone done this at home. I have a small milling machine and a free standing drill press.

Ream to exactly 5/8" (.625"). First time I did it, I used only a 5/8" chucking reamer and the bench vise; turned the arm against the reamer instead of the other way around.

Use a adjustable reamer from Harbor Freight that I barrowed from a friend. Worked great once I figured it had to be run counter clockwise. Easy job in about 4 steps and great finish inside.

Wasn't hard. first one took 15 minutes then the next 3 took less then that combined. I have a machining back ground in vocational school only and haven't reamed anything since the late 70's. Must be like riding a bike and came back to me quickly. I like saving the money and time. Went back together and is very solid.
