I wonder ... what happens if one side happens to be heavier than the other? It looks like only one hydraulic pump, so it presumably produces the same pressure on both sides. If one side was significantly heavier for some reason, seems like the light side would come up first and flip the car sideways.

Looks like a lot of money for 48" of lift, when I can get 24" in about 1/4 the time with just my floor jack & 4 24" jack stands.

Yep, looks like a cool idea, but if I'm going to buy a lift I want one I can walk under, but this set up probably works for most home garages with roof height issues with regular two post lift.

my ceiling is 8'8" so a full size lift wouldn't get me much more height and the ability to move it is a nice touch.
Kind of have it set up all winter to work on the cars and put away in summer for driving season

That is a very nice setup. I considered a lift, but I didn't have the ceiling height and I didn't want to rebuild the room trusses. The heat and floor finish were more important to me at this stage of the game.

I can see the floor anchor holes getting full of dirt and the like......
My garage has never looked as clean as that one.....
most times I loose tools I just put down... HA

I did some Goggling about the EZCARLIFT and there are a lot of group buys. Some getting it down to $1400
