Full Interior Kits

Has anyone tried the special interior kits from VB? How was the installation, and how durable are they? I'm looking at the biscuit colored kit so seats, carpets, and panels match up. I think it'd look pretty sharp with Midgie's Damask Red paint. Don't fancy burning my backside on the black vinyl when I get her on the road.

I'm in the middle of the same project and color scheme.

Since I have time due to the paint shop - I've elected to do the work somewhat myself. Looks like for seats / trim / panels will be ~ $300. My sweat equity - which I'm use to. Just got sick of the prima donna interior guys (local) who wouldn't keep an appointment or couldn't possible do 2 seats in 2 / 3 / fill in the balnk - months !

If you can wait ~ 2 / 3 weeks -- I can keep you posted. Just waiting on material and my supplier is on vaca for a while.

Ineterior items going - mostly smoothly. Taking my time. The secret -- I bought via ebay - a 22 gauage "upholstey" air stapler. Basically small like we use at work or home (vs. home projects) and 5/32" staples (very low depth.

Many / most recommended glue. I've personally don't like it simply because it's so dirty and difficult. Staples went so smooth.

Purchased 6 yds of material and have 2+ left over (bought more than I needed in case I botched something up - but went slow & sure).
