The only seal I can think of, which is significantly easier to replace with the engine out, is the timing-cover seal around the crank pulley. You'll want to replace the cover gasket too, since you'll be taking the cover off.
I'm of the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" school, so I think it's wise not to mess with the bearings and such.
I also thought all the 1275s had dual-row chains. When I bought a chain for the 1275 I've been working on, there was only one listed in the catalog.
